Just curious, but are you following the Karen Sypher trial?

And by the way, it is not the Rick Pitino trial. The Louisville coach is not on trial. Is reputation has been tarnished. He should be embarrassed. But he has not been charged with a crime, thus is not on trial.

But Sypher is on trial. Are you following it? If so, why? If not, why?

She was blackmailing him and that’s what this trial is about. Pitino has a beautiful family and I am sure he regrets the one-night stand. But she needs to understand that you can’t ask for hush money unless you learn to keep your big mouth shut. He paid for silence and got none.

And what of her many children? Is it four or five? She’s a great mom, using sex to pay her her cars, condo, and now her attorney fees. If you’re so worried about “the kids” then you should want to see this woman go to prison at least until hers are grown.

I’m just glad he got caught at Loserville and not Kentucky. She’s a tramp, her past history proves it and he is just a typical man who got caught with his pants down.

This is a “he said” and “she said” situation. She said I raped her in the presence of Vinny Tatum my designated driver, yet she drove me home. She said I raped her at an apartment of a friend while everyone was present ,yet she never resisted or yelled for help. Wow this is good stuff !! I can not understand why Alan Cutler is not chasing after Rick Pitino !!! When is a last time a raped victim attempted to extort money from her rapist ???? I hope Larry Flint is following this stuff, can not wait to see the NBC Mini Series of the Year :”I made a slam dunk and she cried foul!”

Must be a slow day for you John.

I would not say that it was a “slow”day for you, John. Just a very SAD day. As I understand it, Coach Pitino has not denied having sex with this woman in a restaurant on a table – at least to all reports in the news media. How much trashier than that can one get?
It seems to me that all of this is how low a person who has been held in very high esteem can stoop. He is supposed to be a leader of young men and what is he telling them by actions such as this? And then we wonder – at least I do as the mother of three young men- whom do we hold up to them as examples they need to follow?
Frankly it sounds as if this woman was there for the “taking” from anyone who wanted to take advantage. But for someone of Rick Pitino’s apparent stature to fall for this is beyond belief.

I am not following the trial. At least not everyday. The news about this story contains too many lies to make any sense of what’s happening. I’ll wait for the judgement by the hopefully wise judge.
