Here is Drexel coach Bruiser Flint talking about his team’s loss to Kentucky. Later in the video, Flint says that he thinks Kentucky is much better than Villanova, which also beat Drexel. Flint said UK is has more length and is more physical than ‘Nova.
Coach Flint was very gracious in his comments. I know he was hurting and knew how he felt. We have had a few games in the past that were like this one. Only we were the ones who came up on the losing end. Tonight was awesome. My heart goes out to Coach Flint and the Drexel players. They were just out-matched and knew this coming into the game. But Uk Coach Calipari and Coach Flint are great friends. We as UK fans are estatic (sp?) for our 2000 win. As in any game, there has to be a winner and a loser.
Thank you Coach Flint and keeping your team in focus even while they were out-matched in the competition.
Coach Flint seems like a great guy. I’d love to play for a coach like that.
