Here is Kentucky coach Matthew Mitchell’s opening comments after his team’s 34-point win over Louisville before a crowd of 7,323 at Meorial Coliseum.

    I did not see the entire game, but I was very impressed with Kentucky’s defense. Good intensity and aggressiveness. It was obvious that UK was quicker than Loserville. If they can play that type of D, then they should continue to have a good season. Won’t go undefeated. SEC is the toughest women’s basketball conference.

    UK Women’s BB has much improved over last year. Go girls. We need to be #1 in Men’s and Women’s BB as well as UK football. Great job girls. Keep up the great defense and win, win, win…..
