I enjoy reading Mr. Story’s articles and I think the “ask Mark” blog is a great way to get the readers involved. Mark gets a B+ from me. Bring on TIPTON!

Mark is too negative. I hated his articles when Calipari was first hired calling out Dr. Todd and Mitch Barnhart. Think it is time for him to move on along with Tipton.

Mark isn’t all bad, but he likes to beat dead horses (figuratively – I have no idea if he has ever struck an actual horse). His articles on Coach Cal were certainly part of that. I expect to see a reference to Cal’s “controversies” in every article Mark writes until he can finally say “I told you so.” Let’s hope that day never comes, because the smug meter will be at an all time high:) I do like his reader e-mail blog – when he has something new on there – he is a little sporadic on the posting to say the least. He has something interesting to say about football sometimes.

If there was ever a need for a need for an “I don’t care” vote it would be for Mark Story. Not bad, but not great either. I’ve never found his writing nearly as interesting and Mr. Clay’s. His blog is about as worthless as…

To be succinct, I vote approve because he doesn’t suck. Hardly a ringing endorsement.

Thumbs up for Mark. I guess I’m one of the few who appreciated his pointing out some things when Cal was hired. That is part of his job. I bleed blue, but if there are things going on in the program — positive or negative — that need to be reported, I am glad we have people willing to dig into it and report on it.

Opinions in the media are everywhere. I usually don’t care for Mark’s, so I usually don’t read him. I don’t care enough to dislike him, but I don’t really like him either.

At least the trouble in Louisville has caused him to not write his twice yearly “Jurich is AWESOME!” column.

    John:

I think Mark does a great job with UK Baseball and should concentrate / specialize with the subject matter. The video media rarely covers anything to do with UK Baseball. I have never seen Mark report crap like: ” BILLY DEE IT’S A DONE DEAL CATSPAUSE.” However, Mark has stepped in crap before and this hurts his ratings with the useful idiots.
