John Clay is a sports columnist for the Lexington Herald-Leader. Born in Paris, he graduated from George Rogers Clark High School in Winchester in 1977. He lives in Lexington with his wife and two sons. In 2010, his Sidelines blog was one of four Editor and Publisher's EPpy Award finalists for best sports blog. You can e-mail him at jclay@herald-leader.com.
John Wall answers questions quickly and concisely and is not pretending to know how to say the right thing. He just natrurally says the right thing. His charecter is phenominal and is elevated by his confidence. The way he plays is written from the same script.
He’s one very special player. I hope he mentors this entire team and they get filled with the spirit of John Wall and follow him to the final championship game.
Do you think Calipari has an effect on the psychy of these kids?
