So, in the end, the Cats finished tied for next-to-last in the SEC (ahead of only Vandy)…..really not much of an accomplishment - 0 for 4 in SEC home games - The Cats seem to play 13 games a year (with a bowl) and are proud of themselves when they win 7 (and that means 6 losses) and this year 10 (that’s right - 10!) SEC teams will go bowling……so going to 4 straight bowls isn’t that big of a deal - EVERYBODY or almost everybody goes to a bowl in the current state of NCAA FB - it seems we tend to make a big deal out of very little REAL success - at the end of the day it was a very ordinary UK FB season - whatever bowl UK goes to (and I’m not sure it matters too much) I hope they plan to use Cobb late in the game (especially if it’s close) - The UT game was SO winnable w/ Cobb at the end of regulation!
My big issue with the play calling is that Locke only had 11 carries. Not to mention the fact that every time they did the WildCobb, you know Cobb was gonna hang onto it. Why not hand it off to Locke out of the WildCobb occassionally?
