John Clay is a sports columnist for the Lexington Herald-Leader. A native of Paris, who graduated from George Rogers Clark High School in Winchester and the University of Kentucky, he has been with the H-L since 1981. He covered UK football from 1987-1999 before becoming sports columnist in 2000. This blog deals mainly with University of Kentucky sports, but occasionally takes side trips into other areas. John,
Just to confirm, if you have DirecTV and the sports channel package, channel 613 will be carrying all the Cancun Channel games. Saw the floor was brought in from Boston Gardens - did they rent the old floor from the original Gardens? That one was famous for dead spots, dips, etc. Should be interesting. Go Kats!
