Here is video from post-game press conference after Kentucky’s 92-58 win over Boston University to start the women’s basketball season.
First up is coach Matthew Mitchell, who says he was happy with his team’s effort and enthusiasm.
Here are players (left to right) Amber Smith, Victoria Dunlap and Carly Morrow. Dunlap scored 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the win. Morrow hit five of eight three-pointers on the way to 17 points. Amber Smith scored 16, and looked quick going to the basket. This Kentucky team does appear to have more athleticism than in past years. It doesn’t have much size, however. So it will press full-court and try to force turnovers. On this morning/afternoon, it forced BU into 29 turnovers.
