Chris Low of espn.com writes that Mel Kiper’s newest “Big Board” is out and that the finally-coiffed NFL draft analyst has six SEC players among his top 25. Not among the six is UK cornerback Trevard Lindley, thought to be a possible top-round pick who has been beset by injuries thus far. Lindley missed the South Carolina game and will miss this Saturday’s Auburn game because of a high ankle sprain. Head coach Rich Brooks has said that Lindley may not be back until the Mississppi State game on Oct. 31.
Here are the SEC six who made Kiper’s Top 25:
- No. 3 — Eric Berry, DB, Tennessee
- No. 7 — Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida
- No. 13 — Terrence Cody, DT, Alabama
- No. 18 — Greg Hardy, DE, Ole Miss
- No. 19 — Brandon Spikes, LB, Florida
- No. 24 — Eric Norwood, OLB, South Carolina
