I know, you’re supposed to take them one game at a time. Every coach says so. But Kentucky football followers can take a peek ahead tonight when ESPN2 has future UK foe Lousiana-Monroe taking on Arkansas State at 8 p.m. on The Deuce.
Here’s some info on Louisiana-Monroe, which comes to Commonwealth Stadium on Oct. 24:
- The Warhawks are 3-2 and on a two-game winning streak.
- Heading into tonight, they are 2-0 and tied for first in the Sun Belt Conference with Troy.
- Louisiana-Monroe is 15th in the nation in rushing offense.
- Charlie Weatherbie’s team is 22nd in the nation in scoring offense.
- Junior running back Frank Goodin rushed for 163 yards last week against Florida International.
- The Warhawks have played two BCS teams, losing at Texas 59-20 and at Arizona State 38-14.
