UK giving control cards at Madness’ Tent City

This just in from UK athletic office:

In an effort to manage an unprecedented response and the overwhelming number of campers outside the Memorial Coliseum ticket office, the decision was made to distribute control cards to the first group of campers on Wednesday morning.

We appreciate the cooperation of those that were here early and the passion of our fan base.

The remainder of the control cards will be distributed on Friday at a TIME YET TO BE DETERMINED.

Tents should be broken down at 4:00 a.m. on Saturday morning and campers should line up in numerical order according to their control cards. Big Blue Madness tickets will then be distributed at 6:00 a.m.

    Everybody knows what control cards are. I mean, it’s just assumed that everyone knows. Control cards were invented here in Lexington. 1924 if I’m not mistaken.So to answer your question, control cards are something everyone should already know about and need no explanation, especially not in a public blog written by a newspaper columnist.
