The fourth day of our Media Approval Ratings brings us to Mike Cameron, the horse trainer from Clintonville — that’s Bourbon County — who is Chris Cross’ co-host on WLXG-1300’s Sports Huddle in Lexington, afternoons 4 p.m. to 7.
What say you on Mike, thumbs-up or thumbs-down?
Previously: Chris Cross — Dick Gabriel — Larry Glover.

John Clay is a sports columnist for the Lexington Herald-Leader. A native of Central Kentucky and graduate of UK, he covered UK football for 13 seasons before being promoted to columnist in 2000. He lives in Lexington with his wife and two sons. You can e-mail him at jclay@herald-leader.com.
Idiotic sidekick with nothing to contribute. As I said with Cross, I turn my radio at 3:59 SHARP every day.
Talks to much horses. I like him better than Cross, though.
I thought Chris Cross was bad! Now I know why he chose Mike Cameron to be his sidekick. Cameron is so awful, if you are not really paying attention, he makes Cross sound good. This guy obviously knows NOTHING about sports except local horse training. He must work for free, or maybe the food he gets at the amatuerish remotes they do.
Cameron is supposed to be the “knowledgeable” one about UK sports, since Cross knows next to nothing. The problem is, Cameron gets his facts wrong or mixed up so often, he’s just as useless as Cross.
