    John,

How does the SEC determine which SEC West teams UK plays. It looks like UK plays Miss St and LSU more than anybody else.

Mississippi State and LSU were UK’s “permanent” foes from the West, with Cats playing a third West team on a rotating basis. A couple of years ago, league changed to just one “permanent” foe from other division, with two rotating foes. Mississippi State is now yearly foe. It’s now situated so one of the rotating stays on, while one drops off. For example, UK played Alabama last year, and plays the Tide again this year. UK played Arkansas last year, but not this year. Auburn takes Arkansas’ spot on the schedule. The Cats will play Auburn again next year, while Ole Miss takes Alabama’s spot.
