Okay, I understand the thought process. But WO’s bring some things to the table that shouldn’t be quickly dismissed. 1st - GPA, yes….a reality, 2nd - enthusiasm, there are still kids who would do anything they can to wear the blue and white, and 3rd - Hope, hope for those young kids who are really good ballers, but not in the elite. HS kids not in Rivals top 100 need something to hold on to, and sometimes seeing those walk ons get some PT in the early games generated that hope.
