I’m looking forward to Coach Cal and his dealings with Jerry Tipton and the rest of the LHL staff…at least those who are not complete UK sheep…No way he or his program, the way he ran it in Memphis or UMass, can stand the light of day shown upon it. No way. UK fans, enjoy the highs, but get ready for the lows…His departure, whenever that comes, will be painful.
After reading the Chicago newspapers articles, it doesn’t sound like a Coach Cal problem on NCAA problem. It seems like some poor management in the Chicago Public School System. One article stated that non athletes grades may have been tampered with.
Wow. I’m going to start doing what my husband suggests, quit reading about all this stuff that the LHL feels the need to rail against — even when we knew months ago it was going to surface — and follow baseball, hopscotch, anything. Mr. Tipton and Mr. Story should be ashamed for horrible writing.
Rebecca – that is why you should read John Clay’s articles….he is always “fair and balanced”.
