John Wall to visit North Carolina Central on Friday

John Wall’s search for a 2009-10 college took an unexpected turn on Thursday when the Raleigh, North Carolina guard told the Raleigh News and Observer that he will take an unofficial visit to North Carolina Central in Durham on Friday.

An excerpt:

“I want to find out what a historically black school has to offer,” Wall said Thursday night. “This is a visit to find out some things.”

Wall had planned to trim his list of eight schools to three or four by Friday, but, “truthfully, it looks like it is going to be Monday now,” Wall said Thursday night.

Why do we care that much. I say go after Bledsoe. This Wall kid is a once and done deal anyway. Why not go after a player that might be around for a while. Quite honestly, I never thought I would see so much hoopla over a recruit that everyone knows will only be here for a year.

Maybe I’m missing something. Maybe he’s Jordan/Thomas/Magic & Stockton all wound up into one player. That could be the only reason everyone is so insane about this recruit.

This kid’s too in-love with himself to be an unselfish Cat. I’ll bet he goes to Europe.

I wont say i dont wall to come to UK(cuz he is that good)But if bledsoe is interested and we can get him to commit then take him. Wall is taking to long and if we keep waiting we might end up with nothing.

If I’m not mistaken, he is a point guard… I may be wrong. But if he is having trouble making a decision as to which school to attend, perhaps his oncourt decision skills might be a bit similar. Not sure if not getting him is such a big deal.

i think he is doing this just to see what bledsoe will do. I think they both want to come to kentucky but, do they want to play on the same team together?

We don’t play a game for 7 months, so I say let him take his time. We’ll be fine either way.

Europe would be the best option for UK. Then, UK would not have his selfish butt on the team, UK could then sign Bledsoe, and UK would not have to play Wall in the NCAA Tourney.

If Bledsoe is interested, then I say we welcome him with open arms and tell Wall goodbye.

When a kid is that into themselves, like Wall apparently is, then they are usually more of a problem, than they are a help.

UK is back on the map and we don’t need to let a kid hold us hostage.

I was already thinking it… NOW I am saying it.
Lets go and get BLEDSOE!!!! I want a ball player. Not a PLAYER that is just all about him. Sounds like a jr T.O.

I am all in favor of a kid going to the college of his/her choice. After all, college is an incredible experience so one should take the time to make the best choice. But Wall doesn’t care about the college experience whatsoever, true college fans should not really care about his decision, let’s move on. I believe we already have great potential for next year. Liggins and Galloway could both improve 100% under Coach Cal’s system. I say offer to Bledsoe this weekend and be done with it. Let’s have fun this year for a change !!!

I’d say make EB an offer and leave John Wall out in the cold for taking to long.

Then why wouldn’t he challenge to enter the NBA draft? He is 19 and has been in high school for 5 years.

If you want to buy a car, you will have to receive the business loans. Moreover, my brother commonly uses a car loan, which is really fast.
