The Quest For No. 66 continues!!!!
Question:
Did they do something to Memorial Coliseum to reduce the seating capacity?
When I was at UK in the 70’s I swear the attendance was at least 12,000 for a home game, maybe as high as 16,000.
When I read it was a ’sell out’ at less then 9,000 I did a double take.

The capacity was cut when new offices, a new locker room and weight room we’re added not long after Pitino arrived.
A chorus of boos at the Sweet 16 afternoon session when Billy G commercial came on the screen. It will take more than an NIT win to soothe UK fans.
