Below is the reception chart for UK’s pass-catchers in the 24-17 loss to South Carolina. As you can see, Cobb and Locke were each thrown to 10 times, and caught eight passes apiece. “3D att” means thrown to on third down. Surprisingly, UK tried three passes to Eric Adeyemi on third down. The freshman did not make a catch on third down.
You have to remember that Dicky Lyons left the game in the second quarter with that torn MCL after making an 8-yard catch. Lyons was leading the SEC with an average of 6.2 receptions per game.

John,
Have these stats been kept for every game? If so, could you publish them for the year to date?
Thanks for good work.
Curt
As a matter of fact I do keep that for every game. I’ll get them compiled and get a post up today as soon as I can. Thanks, John.
What about drops? I think the receivers’ impressions of Roberto Duran’s “Manos de Peidra” have hampered the offense, among other things. I would be interested in those numbers, if you have them.
I’ll go back and see what I have in my notes/spreadsheet about drops.
