The jury has decided in my opinion.

I still dont understand this theory "With Cobb at QB, who is he going to throw to?"

With Hartline in the game... who are we going to throw to? You cant throw to Cobb everytime, so why not put in his hands 50 times a game versus 10?

He can gash you 2 ways from the QB slot, with his feet and with his left handed arm. At receiver, he can basically only catch it and get taken down after a few yards after the catch. We cant throw it deep to him, nor can we expect him to take screen passes to the house. Our offense can be so versatile with Cobb at QB. We can option out and get Locke the ball outside, or Cobb can keep it. We will run the ball much better while spreading it out with Cobb. Cobb can throw dump off screens to Adeyemi too!!!!!11 Once the defense is unsure of what UK will do... then Cobb can throw it deep. I have seen him throw and he throws a much more pretty ball han Hartline.

Hartline MAY not be better than what Woodson was in his first year but let's not say he's CLEARLY not better until the season is over. Mind you, Woodson may have put up solid numbers early on but he only recorded 1 more touchdown to 2 more interceptions over the next 7 games.

I think the jury is still out...

This comparison is somewhat scary. I though Woodson was pretty bad in his first full year of starting. We probably had better receivers that year too. Hartline is clearly not better than what Woodson was in his first year. Im basing this on the #'s and what I remember of his performances (especially against Louisville).

Did you happen to see how wobbly that pass thrown for a TD to Ford near the end of the Alabama game was? Woodson would have thrown a perfect ball right into Ford's hands on that paly. I will give Hartline credit for finding the open man, but it was definitely not thrown with a spiral.

I hate to be negative, but it looked like Cobb throws that nice spiral that sticks to receivers hands... similar to Woodson.
