An interesting trend is that before last week’s win over Middle Tennessee, Kentucky had lost its last four games before an open date. And it wasn’t exactly as if the Cats steamrolled Rick Stockstill’s Blue Raiders. If not for the shoestring Robbie McAtee near the goal line, MTSU pulls off the upset.
And as you can see, Kentucky has won after its last two open dates. It should be 3-0 4-0 next Saturday after Western Kentucky comes to town. But the Cats need to play well, what with a trip to Tuscaloosa next on the agenda.

CAN U COUNT. IT WOULD BE 4-0!
Nice chart!
Now do one on how many Division AA schools we have played in the last ten years and compared to the other SEC teams. If we win next Saturday we only have to win two SEC games to be bowl eligible and have Brooks mentioned thousands of times in the same sentence as Bear Bryant? Can we ever think of those teams of Cotton, Sugar and Orange Bowl status as actually being great teams again? Being called the ‘Music City Bowl Champions’ does hava a certain ring to it doesn’t it?
