SEC predictions for tonight:
- Vanderbilt at Miami (O): Tough game for Vandy to open its season. First SEC team to dare go into Oxford, Ohio. The Commodores will pay for the distinction. Miami (O) 24, Vanderbilt 21.
- North Carolina State at South Carolina: Mike Archer didn't have much luck when his Kentucky defenses faced Steve Spurrier when the ol' ball coach was at either Florida or USC. Archer won't have much luck now that he's at N.C. State either. South Carolina 28, N.C. State 17.
Never mind on the Miami game. We won’t win these games again til we have a new coach. Painful to have squandered the Big Ben years to be mediocre now.
I think both games showed the quality of even the middle to lower ranks of SEC football. Here’s to an SEC sweep of the opening weekend’s out of conference games!
