If Kentucky has a any chance of stopping Florida’s 15-game winning streak come Saturday night, the Cats must stop, or at least slow the Gators’ amazing offensive machine. Consider the following:
- Florida has posted an offensive efficiency rating of 110+ in seven of its nine league games. Kentucky is next with five. Teams that post an OER of 110 or more are 29-9 in the SEC this year.
- Florida has shot 55 percent of better from the field in four of its league games. Kentucky is next with three. Teams that shoot 55 percent or better the floor are 13-1 in the league this year.
- Florida has had six games in which it hit at least 45 percent of its three-point shots. No other SEC team has more than three. Teams that hit at least 45 percent of their three-point shots are 19-9 in the league this year.
- Lee Humphrey has made 33 of his 48 three-point shots in league play. That’s a ridiculous 68.7 percent. He’s made 14 of 20 over his last four games for 70 percent.
- Florida leads the SEC in scoring offense (82.3 points per game), scoring margin (+22.5), field goal percentage (54.0), three-point field goal percentage (44.0), rebounding margin (+8.8) and assists (17.5). Those stats are for all games, not just SEC games.

Remind anyone of UK’s ’96 team?
It’s hard to find a team with as much NBA talent as this year’s Florida squad. If UK doesn’t win on Saturday, Florida will likely run the table.
