Here it is: Here's why I was at the Breeders' Cup. There are two sports columnists at the Herald-Leader, Mark Story and myself. We sort of divide the racing. He writes on auto racing, including NASCAR, the Indy 500, etc. I write on horse racing, including the Derby, etc. That's why I was at the Breeders' Cup on Saturday. Sorry I missed out on one of Kentucky's biggest football wins, and was not able to blog from that win, but was glad to be at racing's biggest day.
