New Jersey prep star Dan Werner is flying to Raleigh on Sunday to visit with new North Carolina State coach Sidney Lowe before narrowing his possible college choices. The N.C. State signee was given permission to check out other schools once Wolfpack coach Herb Sendek left for Arizona State. Kentucky is one school Werner has visited.[Charlotte Observer ]
With loss of Werner, Tubby has proved once again he cannot recruit. I have been a loyal fan since 1947, but enough is enough. Tubby’s offense is boring and nobody want’s to play Tubby ball. We may win 20 games this year, but also prepare yourself for double digit losses again. Also prepare yourself for next years recruiting disappointment. Thank God we are improving in football. At least Brooks can recruit. After 59 years of living and dying with Kentucky Basketball I will not watch, listen, or read about Kentucky basketball again until Tubby is gone.
